Public policy is at the core of the Minnesota High Tech Association (MHTA). As MHTA works to help make Minnesota a top-five science and technology state, we develop, support and advocate for policies that promote the long-term growth, sustainability and global competitiveness of Minnesota’s technology-based economy.
State government in Minnesota has a new look in 2019 following elections last year. With these changes, it is important for MHTA to speak for the technology community and educate legislators, but also to update the community on our progress at the Capitol.
To learn more about how the MHTA legislative agenda has fared thus far, how technology is positioned in the Governor’s Budget Proposal, where MHTA staff have testified, and what you can do to support our growing tech ecosystem, Join the Minnesota High Tech Association for an overview of the legislative session on May 2 at 7:30 AM at Osborn370.
Hear from John Dukich, MHTA’s Director of Public Policy, legislators, and members of MHTA’s Government Affairs committee about next steps as the 2019 legislative session draws to a close.
